Berlin is well-known as an extremely artsy and vibrant city full of exciting nightlife, exhibitions, restaurants, museums and parks. It is a city of contrast with decadent old buildings stood side by side communist flat blocks and green spaces located amongst the ongoing reconstruction of the city. For me, however, Berlin has a more personal appeal as it is where my brother and his family live. After having visited this city at least twice a year for the past 10 years I have decided that it is time to revisit all the cultural sights I first visited when I was a young child and bring a slightly more mature outlook  onto the city’s happenings.
